On paper, Doomsday Clock is a space-time warping crossover that promised a final confrontation between Doctor Manhattan and Superman. The story, as advertised, seemed to be a considered response to the ways in which the success of Watchmen has warped the superhero genre, though told through the most cliche of superhero formats one could imagine. That final season will also be followed by a sequel series, not yet titled, which airs in December. On Friday, Paramount Network made two announcements concerning the future of its marquis series, Yellowstone: The second part of Season 5, originally set to air this summer, will now release in November and be the final season of the show.
